A painting by a Ukrainian artist, based on a photograph by Charlotte Frederickson. Charlotte is a photographer and a fan of depicting animals and natural landscapes, so most of her photos are dedicated to this. Specifically, this one shows a part of the mountain range in the northwestern USA, near Seattle, and is part of the North Cascades National Park. That is, almost on the border with Canada.
Unlike the original photo, the painting conveys this area more softly. The colors are slightly muted, the strokes are light and somewhat arbitrary. This helps the author to convey a warm October day in the mountains. And it gives the impression that no human has ever set foot in these places. There is only untouched nature, majestic mountains, and a quiet wind that rustles the leaves on the numerous trees.
