  2. You understand that Twip.me is separate from, but relies upon Twitter.com, Yahoo Messenger, Windows/Microsoft Messenger, Gtalk and Jabber for its successful operation. If one Twitter.com, Yahoo Messenger, Windows/Microsoft Messenger, Gtalk are down, Twip.me will be completely or partially down.
  3. You understand that the use of this site and its services is at your own risk.
  4. You understand that this site may be down for maintenance from time to time and notice of said downtime may or may not be given in advance.
  5. You understand that by using Twip.me, Twip.me takes no responsibility if your Twitter account may be suspended or terminated through use of Twip.me direct or indirect.
  6. You understand that Twip.me is not responsible for any content held on or displayed on Twitter.com.
  7. You understand that Twip.me is not responsible for any charges that may be incured by your network provider when using our sms service to update your twitter status and/or send direct messages.

Basic Terms

  3. You must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other Twitter users using Twip.me.
  4. You may not use the Twip.me service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
  5. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, on the Twip.me service.
  6. You must not modify, adapt or hack Twip.me or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with Twip.me .
  7. You must not create or submit unwanted email to any Twitter members ("Spam") using Twip.me.
  8. You must not use Twip.me to transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
  9. You must not, in the use of Twip.me, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination of your Twip.me account.

General Conditions

  1. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Twip.me service for any reason, without notice at any time.
  2. We reserve the right to alter these Terms of Use at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the Terms of Use, we will notify you via the Twip.me website. What constitutes a "material change" will be determined at our sole discretion, in good faith and using common sense and reasonable judgment.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
  4. We may, but have no obligation to, remove Interests and accounts containing Content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violate these Terms of Use.

Upon registration we (Twip.me) will need you to provide some essential information about your twitter and IM account. All your passwords provided are encrypted in our database, no one being able to find your password.


We may collect information regarding your account like your IP address, time zone, IM ID, Twitter username, Twitter password.


We may use your contact information to market to you. If you wish not to receive information about our products and service, please follow the instructions in any of those materials.
